Born and raised in the tough streets of Queens, New York, Angel Yau is a NYC/Los Angeles based solo sketch comedian, storyteller and filmmaker. When she was 5, her cousin hit her in the head with a baseball bat and that pretty much changed her life forever.  She has performed in Seattle Sketchfest, NYC Underground Comedy Festival, Philly Sketchfest, North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival and Calgary’s Funnyfest.
 
She was on the UCB Beta Team, SCRAPS and is now on the UCB Digi Team, LASH. Like all indecisive or multi-talented artists, Angel wants to be a filmmaker, a comedian, a writer, a blogger, a socialist, a cook, a receptionist, a secret agent and a beekeeper when she grows up. She is still a very shy girl who will awkwardly ask if you can let her use your laptop charger because her laptop constantly is out of battery.
