Philly Sketchfest – 2016
Youth Large is smart, feminist comedy that finds humor in the daily anxieties of life as told by three women – Samantha Russell, Kristy Goldy, and Zia Hiltey. While this collaboration is relatively new (with just one show under their belt), Sam and Goldy bring with them a solid history in the Philadelphia comedy scene, participating in popular, long-active sketch groups such as Secret Pants and Goat Rodeo.
This group serves almost as a form of proactive therapy, constantly exploring what it feels like to be a pseudo adult in a world full of gender expectations, social norms, and a spiral of worry around every corner… Again, in the silliest way possible.
